Sales Executive

 

Summary: To generate leads, appointments and target set sales.
Salary Range: £14 - £18k basic, excellent OTE uncapped.
Responsible to: Managing Director

Job Description

1. To proactively identify and generate a specific number of new business opportunities
2. Have a professional and courteous manner.
3. To accurately enter information onto company database in an efficient manner.
4. To communicate with customers in a professional and informative manner.
5. To undertake any reasonable duties requested by the Managing Director or Designate.
6. To assist with the planning and management of events to facilitate your sales abilities and further your understanding of the event industry.

Minimum Experience:
Minimum two years sales in a target focused industry

1. Telephone skills - handling all calls in a professional, polite, helpful and informative manner.
2. Computer literate. Word, Excel, Databases, Web (FTP), knowledge of SEO a benefit
3. Proven ability to convert opportunities into leads and appointments.
4. Developing customers with a long term view and recurring revenue stream.
5. Experience of cold selling and the ability to identify and follow through on a lead.
6. Ability to close a deal and build a relationship.

Desirable

1. One years experience in the event industry
2. Experience organising or managing events
3. Professional sales training or sales development qualifications

Undesirable

1. Pushy sales -  we build and nurture our client relationships
