Après Ski, Alpine Lodge
Bespoke event interior theme in a popular London basement venue
Our Client
Client: Intuit UK
Brief: Apres Ski, Alpine Lodge
Venue: 100 Wardour Street, London
The event brief
Our client's brief was to create a wow alpine ski chalet at private event space, 100 Wadour Street, London. The brief, whilst quite simple, was made more complicated with only a two hour install time in a busy central London location. The event included installing over 20 Christmas trees, props, snow ball chalet, curling game, photo dress up area and silent disco. A seemingly simple event, but it's all in the logistics and planning.
The event solution
We've worked on lots of venues like this where it looks like a basement nightclub. The problem is not the theme, the problem is always the logistics of getting it installed in time for the party. Time is money when you're working in London!
To give this event an immediate wow factor, we pre-constructed 20 Christmas trees and added snow theme props,. For entertainment, we added a snow ball chalet, curling game and photo dress up area.
The party included a live band, but with most London venues it's restricted after a certain time, so we also included a silent disco.

How Planet Pursuits added value to this event!
We have been working with the internal events team at Intuit QuickBooks for a couple of years, so we completely understood how they operate. The value we brought to this event was in understanding of how we would manage the logistics of this tricky build in the centre of London. We understand time is money when you're operating in London venues, so we prebuilt a lot of the Christmas trees beforehand and delivered them on site down the service lift into the basement. It's our understanding of logistics, budgets, and the client's expectations that allowed us to deliver this event within 2 hours and strike it the same night.
