Corporate Christmas party organisers — exclusive parties, never shared
Corporate Christmas party organisers plan and deliver a company’s Christmas party end-to-end — venue, theme, food, entertainment and the running of the night. Planet Pursuits builds exclusive Christmas parties across the M4 corridor, Oxford, Cheltenham and west London: your company, your room, your night. We don’t do shared party nights, and we never have.
A Christmas party is the one night most of the company actually shows up for. It deserves better than a joiner ticket at a shared venue with someone else’s sales team on the next table. We design and build the whole night around your people — from a themed set-build in a ballroom to a pop-up party in your own car park.

Exclusive means exclusive
Much of the Christmas party market runs on shared nights: big venues, fixed themes, several companies per sitting. There’s nothing wrong with that model — it’s just not ours. Every Christmas party we deliver is private to one client. The theme is chosen for your people, the room is yours all night, the run order flexes when your MD’s speech overruns, and nobody’s watching another company’s awards.
The trade-off is honest: a shared night is cheaper per head. An exclusive night is yours. If budget points you to shared parties, we’ll say so on the first call — and if it doesn’t, we’ll build you something your team will still be talking about in January.
What a Planet Pursuits Christmas party looks like
-
Themed party nights - full seasonal party builds from winter wonderlands to apres-ski lodges. Al with props, scenery, lighting and menus form our own warehouse and crew.
-
Christmas dinner and dance - the popular classic with seated dinner, awards between courses if you want them followed by the party.
-
Office and atrium takeovers - your own chosen building transformed for the occasion. We've themed offices, atriums and, yes, even a car park!
-
Pop-up Christmas parties - have you left it late or have no venue budget? If so then we build the party wehre you are. For example the Alpine pop-up we built for Ethos Farm.
-
Christmas and Awards combined - See our awards night service.

Just a few parties we’ve built

James Bond at the HAC, London — black-tie season done differently

What does a corporate Christmas party cost?
Clearly, prices vary depending on the service you require, location and venue. However, budgets can start as little as £50 to £70 per person for theming a room, excluding venue charges and catering and, of course, economies of scale. A solid working figure for a well-produced exclusive party with food, drink, entertainment and venue is usually around £175-350 per head. The biggest variables are the venue, the depth of the theme build, and catering. Tell us headcount, target date and budget range on the first call and we’ll give you a firm range the same week.
The event planning process
The same five stages as every Planet Pursuits event: a first chat (Simon leads it personally), concept and venue, the build, the night itself — our crew at the coalface from set-up to strike — and a proper catch-up afterwards.
For Christmas parties the calendar drives everything, so the venue work starts the week you brief us.
The most asked questions about corporate Christmas parties
What do I need to consider if I run a party myself?
We work with a lot of companies that have an in-house team, but still, it's overwhelming, the amount of work that's required to run a sizable Christmas party.
In brief, there's:
-
the venue find, the logistics, the planning process, booking suppliers, entertainers, catering, etc.
-
the pre-event invites design, attendee list, seating plan, seating boards, marketing signs
-
the theme party planning, the design, the install, the removal
-
entertainers and suppliers booking, checks, coordination and schedules
-
site health and safety, method statement and liability insurance
-
onsite accident and emergency planning
Are your Christmas parties shared with other companies?
No — never. Every party is exclusive to one client. Shared party nights are cheaper per head and we’ll tell you honestly if that’s the better fit for your budget, but it isn’t what we build. But of course, if you're looking for a shared party night because your company is smaller, our team will venue search for free.
When should we book?
We always recommend a client book a year in advance for any party, especially for popular destinations and venues. January to March for first pick of December venues and dates; by early autumn at the latest for a full build. Pop-ups in your own space can move faster.
Can you build the party at our office?
Yes — office, atrium and even car-park takeovers are some of the most talked-about parties we do. Build access, power and an early word with building management are the practical needs. These do really suit pop-up parties, particularly at lunchtime or a drinks reception leading up to Christmas. We've even taken over a company's car park and themed it as a surprise.
Do you only do themed Christmas parties?
No. Themes are our signature end-to-end service — we design and build them with our own props and crew — but a beautifully produced dinner-dance or a party built around your awards works just as well. The night is designed around your people, not a format.
Can the Christmas party include our awards?
Yes, and it’s a common pattern: awards between courses, big award last, then the party. See our awards and celebrations service for how we stage recognition properly.
What if we have left it too late for December?
Two honest options: a pop-up party in your own space, or a January party — better venue choice, better rates, and your whole team is actually in the country. [
Do you only offer end-to-end Christmas party solutions?
No way. Quite often, our clients have already found a venue and sourced the caterers, and they just need us to theme the party or coordinate guests. It's entirely up to you. As an event management company, though, we prefer to help organise and coordinate all aspects of your event to make sure it runs smoothly. But quite often, we are working with your in-house event management team.
Talk to us about Christmas
The earlier the better — but whenever you’re reading this, the first call is short and not a pitch. Tell us headcount, a date and a feeling, and we’ll come back with venue options, a theme direction and a sensible cost range.
